Hi, I'm Jo Scheimberg.
I know what it feels like to look in the mirror and not quite recognize the woman looking back. The energy that used to come easily. The body that responded to all the same things it always had. And then... it didn't.
I've been through menopause. I lived the hot flashes, the sleepless nights, the frustrating midsection shift — all while running a full life. And instead of accepting that this was just "getting older," I decided to figure out what was actually happening in my body. That curiosity changed everything.
Now, as a certified menopause and longevity specialist, nutritionist, and personal trainer, I help women in their 40s and 50s do the same. Because what I've learned — both personally and professionally — is that the advice we've been given for decades doesn't just stop working in midlife. It actively works against us.
At The Life U Love, we don't do restrictive diets, generic apps, or the exhausting "eat less, move more" hamster wheel. Instead, we work with your biology. We build real strength. My Story
My story doesn't start in a gym. It starts on a surgery table.
After spinal surgery and months of physical therapy, I came face to face with something I refused to accept — that pain, fatigue, and decline were just the price of getting older. That experience didn't break me. It lit a fire.
I went back to the science. As someone with a Biology degree, I had the foundation — but I needed to go deeper. I added certifications in personal training, nutrition, wellness, menopause, and longevity. And I started piecing things together.
What I didn't know at the time? Perimenopause had been happening all along — quietly working against me, affecting my energy, my recovery, my body, my mood. I was doing everything I thought I was supposed to do, and still not feeling like myself. Now I understand why.
That combination — the biology background, the lived experience of navigating perimenopause and menopause without even realizing what was happening, and the years of coaching women through some of the most frustrating and transformative seasons of their lives — is what makes The Life U Love different. I'm not handing you an app and a meal plan. I'm bringing my personal line, my expertise, and my genuine understanding of what your body is going through right now.
